This artwork was created during a ten day artist residency at Bundanon Trust, NSW in February 2012.
In 1971 Arthur Boyd spent his first ten-day visit at Bundanon and this had a “profound effect on his thinking and artwork”. This is exactly what I proposed to do.
I dedicated this time to research and develop my ideas and to be inspired by the Australian landscape. I spent many days in the studio drawing and painting and making paper wind sculptures.
